The musical quality of the game is depreciating and I hope that they bring back the quality and ambiance that the game has historically had. TLDR I'm not sure if there has been a change of who creates the soundtracks, but they need to take a long look at the musical themes. Modern kwismas has neither of these vibes. Kwismas from two years ago, was a beautiful snowy land of wonder and peace( Previous Kwismas Music). 1.29 Kwismas is a happy, fun and exciting land of presents. I've listed above the worst offenders so I wont go on, except for Kwismas Island. I will say however, that the current brakmar battle music is not among my top list of worst changes. This was an incredibly good battle theme designed to hype you up for the area, but they got rid of it. Brakmar battle music was easily one of the most hype battle themes in the game ( Brakmar Battle Music). Not even remotely close to the dark, villainous soundtracks of the past. Astrub gained a worse version of 1.29 astrub music (really?), and brakmar sounds like a drunk trool fair. The element of thrill from previous musical versions is gone.Ĭities: Bonta is the same. The battle music, the cities music, specific areas (Outside of brakmar, Frigost, and Dungeons, and Kwismas Island. Many of the new soundtracks, such as the soundtracks from Enurado, Srambad, and Xelorium are to this day some of my favorite soundtracks in video game history. L'ensemble des thmes de Salakiss est list sur ce site et JOL-Dofus propose par ailleurs une liste assez complte de thmes Suite Xygen BlueXygne PurpleXygne BeigeXygne Les thmes de Dioxy. With the rising popularity of Dofus Retro, ankama mixed 1.29 soundtracks with newer soundtracks. I think this was a good thing as 1.29 soundtrack was beginning to be stale after so much time. After the transition from 1.29 to 2.0, Ankama began to change the soundtrack in every aspect. Somewhere over the course of the last year or two, during the change of the games soundtrack, almost every musical theme has gotten worse. I love this game deeply and have always had the game sound on while I play. I have characters on dofus Retro, Echo, Ilyzaelle, Shadow, Oto mustam and dofus Touch. Since then, I have played every version dofus has offered on every type of server. Hi everyone, I have been playing dofus for a little over 12 years now.
